As
a leader of a successful promotions firm, Nikou Mohajerani knows what it’s like
to coordinate a busy office. After all, when you coach several executives while
managing important client projects, you have to stay organized and focused to
succeed. Nikou talked about the importance of time management and the
importance of mastering the skill:
Maximize Limited Time: Time is short and that means you need to make the most of what you have.
Make Better Decisions: Disorganization leads to frazzled feelings, which leads to poor decision making. By staying organized with time management, you can make more strategic decisions.
Accomplish More with Less: When you manage your time well, you can accomplish more even in a short span of time. Staying focused and working on the task at hand are crucial.
Higher Quality: It’s hard to produce work of a high quality when you’re scrambling at the last minute to get things done because your schedule has gotten away from you. Better time management means better work results.
To
help her team maximize their time, Nikou encourages them to use tools such as
Google calendar, text reminders, and even a physical agenda. She says, “I plan
every day in 15 minute increments all the way through till Sunday so I always
make sure to hit my goals.”
Nikou
also encourages her executives to host a five to 10 minute goal meeting every
day to hold each other accountable. With this kind of focus on time efficiency,
its no surprise her team is so proficient at maintaining maximum efficiency.
