May 28, 2014 - LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Nikou Mohajerani has always believed that giving back to the community is important as a business leader. As an individual determined to make a name for herself in the corporate world, she knows that being socially responsible will pay dividends for her reputation, but is motivated more by her desire to be a good citizen.
In her own words, “You can only get what you are willing to give.” For Nikou, that means the more positive actions you take, the more positivity will be returned to you. “Are you willing to give your time to help people be successful? If you are, then you will be able to find success, too.”
As such, she has taken on numerous causes about which she is most concerned. To start, she has a desire to be a strong example of female success to young women. She volunteers with high-risk youth as a mentor and an advocate. Working in high schools and community centers, she aims to guide vulnerable girls as they make important life choices.
Nikou has also been a regular volunteer for an assisted living home where she acts as a friend to the elderly by visiting with them, listening to their stories, and helping them feel valued and loved. These two giveback activities provide tremendous fulfilment to Nikou and are activities she intends to maintain for years to come.
